Benjamin Allen Lopes and Kisha Marte ran with the opportunity to establish BALM Studio  and have it represent the emergence of art, fashion, and photography. Benjamin, a New England native, grew up surrounded by creativity with an artist mother and his Father a soul singer. Kisha, a Brooklynite, was immersed in the fashion world from an early age as a model and later turned real estate agent.

In January 2024, Benjamin relocated to New York City to pursue both his personal and professional dreams—specifically, to “see about a girl” Kisha, and to walk into the art  scene. Kisha, with her deep understanding of the city’s creative landscape, discovered the perfect space at 325 Gold Street to launch a new venture that seamlessly blends their diverse talents and passions.
